Our team also supports public engagement with our heritage and income generation to support our charity.

Preacher

We are seeking an exceptional Preacher to provide pastoral care for our community inside our walls and build relationships with the wider neighborhood. We are looking for an experienced community leader to deliver excellent liturgy, develop our music programme, and deepen our understanding of spirituality and ageing.

Head of Commercial 

This role will lead and manage the Carthusia team, ensuring the effective delivery of the Charterhouse visitor attraction and venue hire offer. The role includes overseeing daily public opening and all commercial activity, encompassing retail, public engagement, venue hire, bookings, sales, and events.

Security Manager

The Security team protects our premises, assets, residents, personnel and guests 24/7. As the first point of contact for all visitors to the gatehouse of the Charterhouse, security team members are expected to present a professional and informed welcome, and to deal efficiently with all traffic and visitors to and from the site. The Security Manager is expected to lead and uphold high standards across the team, as well as ensuring implementation of fire safety responsibilities including evacuation duties and other emergencies .

Security Officer

We are also looking for a Security Officer  to work as part of our small friendly Security team. As part of their role they will undertake fire safety responsibilities including evacuation duties as well as dealing with lift entrapment, and other emergencies as part of their role.
