Experts in their field, our governors bring with them a range of skills relevant to our charitable purpose and outputs. Our governors are pivotal in providing ultimate oversight of the work of the Charterhouse, in support of our Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.

 

Our governance structure is supported by a committed and skilled group of volunteers, with a range of expertise that complements the work of the charity. Our Governors have backgrounds in healthcare, property management, heritage and executive leadership.

Senior Independent Director, Carthusia Ltd

Carthusia Ltd, founded in 2011, is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charterhouse which conducts all non-primary purpose trading activities for the Charterhouse which currently includes Venue Hire and Public Engagement (ticketed tours, events and a retail offer). It operates on an arm’s length basis from the Charterhouse and has a separate Board of directors.
