Our team also supports public engagement with our heritage and income generation to support our charity.

Housing and Welfare Officer 

The Charterhouse is looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Housing & Welfare Officer to join our Health and Wellbeing team.

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting our residents and older people living within our unique community. You will provide practical support across housing, welfare, wellbeing, admissions and resident liaison, helping residents maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Chef de Partie No. 2 (internal vacancy)

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed chef to become an important member of the Charterhouse kitchen team. Working closely with the Head Chef and Chef de Partie No. 1, the successful candidate will help deliver consistently high-quality food for Brothers, staff, visitors and external events.

The role would suit someone who takes genuine pride in their cooking, enjoys working as part of a small and supportive team, and is confident using their initiative while maintaining high standards of food safety, presentation and service.
