Safeguarding Policy

The Charterhouse is committed to the safety and wellbeing of everyone who lives, works, and visits within our community. This Safeguarding Policy sets out our approach to protecting adults with care and support needs, children, and young people from all forms of harm, abuse, and neglect – and makes clear that safeguarding is the responsibility of every member of our community, from Governors and staff to contractors and volunteers.

The policy covers how to recognise and respond to concerns, the duties and responsibilities of all those working at the Charterhouse, and our governance arrangements for ensuring safeguarding remains a priority at every level of the organisation.
