April Garden Tour: postponed

Led by Head Gardener Kate Robinson and one of the Brothers, this is one of the limited opportunities to enter the enchanting private gardens of the Charterhouse, curated specially for the enjoyment of the Brothers who live here. Hidden away for more than 650 years, the Charterhouse gardens are now revealed in all their glory. Enclosed by this historic former monastery and Tudor palace is an oasis of calm and great beauty where a collection of courtyard gardens gradually unfold, cleverly reflecting different moods and providing colour and interest throughout the seasons.  The Garden Tours run from March through to September – either once or twice a month. Tickets £20.

We are sorry to have had to cancel this tour, but hope soon to be taking bookings for later in the year.

June Open Gardens (with NGS)

The opportunities to visit our lovely gardens are rare, as they have been created especially as a peaceful haven for the residents who live in the almshouse here.  We are therefore delighted to announce that, due to very popular demand, we are opening them for a monthly series of Open Garden evenings and in June we will combine this with being part of the National Garden Scheme.  Join us for a relaxed evening when you will be free to walk amongst the gardens on these non-guided events, with the opportunity to enjoy an informal BBQ and bar.  Discover this beautifully planted oasis  on our stunning seven acre site.

£5 cash on the door. No advance booking. (Food and drink not included in ticket price. Terms and Conditions apply)
