London Handel Festival lunchtime concert
We are delighted to present one of this year’s lunchtime concerts in the London Handel Festival programme. Join us for a sublime performance of voice and harpsichord, in the splendid surrounds of our Jacobean chapel.
A current OAE Rising Star, mezzo-soprano Bethany Horak-Hallett made her London Handel Festival debut in the 2021 Singing Competition where she was awarded second prize. In 2022 she joins the Samling Artist Programme alongside touring with the OAE and Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra, as well as joining Garsington Opera’s Alvarez Young Artist Programme to cover the role of Dorabella in their 2022 production of Così fan tutte.
Accompanied by Stephen Devine on harpsichord, Horak-Hallett will be performing a fabulous selection of Handel songs, alongside pieces by Hasse, Monteverdi, Rameau and Carissimi. Tickets £15.For full details and to book now click here on the London Handel Festival site.
