Sound Unbound at the Charterhouse
We are excited to announce that this year we are partnering with the Barbican and Culture Mile to host exclusive events as part of the Sound Unbound Festival.
The Charterhouse is Sound Unbound’s home for early music both in its original form, and reimagined for a modern age. The programme includes acclaimed violist Liam Byrne who will perform Nico Muhly’s ‘Long Phrases for the Wilton Diptych’, you will be able to experience a beautiful interactive version of ‘Pleasure Garden’ by Australian recorder player Genevieve Lacey, and there will be music from the Academy of Ancient Music in our Chapel.
The line up also includes: BBC Singers, Christoph Sietzen, Helen Charlston & Toby Carr, AAM trio John Holiday, Nora Fischer & Marnix Dorrestein, and Street Orchestra Live
Entry will be free. See the Chapel Programme here and the Great Chamber Programme here.
