Welcome to the fourth in our series of video diaries from our Head Gardener Kate Robinson – where she shows us around the gardens of the Charterhouse, looking at the different planting schemes and including tips on planting and maintenance.
While we are in lockdown Kate is the only member of the gardening team on-site – but she’s getting help from some of the Brothers and more recently some of the volunteers too.
In this episode of Kate’s lockdown diaries, she’s focusing on the herb beds surrounded by trimmed box – some of which have now been converted to raised vegetable beds, with the help of some of the Brothers.
