The Charterhouse Museum is forging links with other institutions in Islington to encourage greater visitors to the area. Part of our partnership working includes extending our £1 tour offer with other local attractions so this becomes a boroughwide initiative.
Discussions are taking place at present with the Order of St John to build a joint tour offer so we can together provide visitors with a day to discover centuries of London history. Part of our initial meetings included the plans for staff from each site to experience the other’s Tours. Recently, Bethany and Laura, Charterhouse Visitor Experience Assistants, undertook some tours at the Order of St John to discover the fascinating history of St John’s Gate.
