LFA Architectural Tour

As part of the London Festival of Architecture we are introducing a special new Architecture Tour which we are running twice in June. Join one of our expert guides to explore the many architectural surprises at the Charterhouse. From medieval monastery to Tudor mansion, postwar renovation to invigorating 21st century adaptation of the Charterhouse buildings and open spaces, comprise a wealth of fascination in the heart of London. Tudor brick juxtaposed against medieval stone, windows and doorways recycled into modern entrances, elegant Victorian functionality and 1950s innovation; every element of these historic buildings breathes a story about the visionaries who have contributed to this remarkable estate, from Henry Yevele to Eric Parry.
