Afterwards, take your seat in the magnificent Great Chamber, London’s only surviving Tudor Great Chamber, where Queen Elizabeth I once held her first Privy Council and signed letters “from the Royal Palace in London”.
Enjoy a luxurious festive afternoon tea featuring gourmet savoury creations such as honey-roasted ham with truffle mayonnaise, and classic Scottish smoked salmon, cream cheese and dill sandwiches. Indulge in exquisite patisserie including rhubarb and strawberry Tonka crumble, gold-flecked Jivara chocolate praline bars with chocolate chantilly, and raspberry choux filled with pistachio crème mousseline, all to savour while accompanied by a classically trained pianist performing elegant festive arrangements on the room’s grand piano.
