The Swedish company Ingrid Olterman Dans is visiting the Charterhouse in May, performing “Carrier”, a circular piece that surrounds and captures the audience with its different elements, music and dance. Inside a circle of chairs you find a space, a landscape consisting of icebergs and a grand piano. The audience is invited to a close and active experience. Seated in a circle they create a frame in which the performance then take place. Dancer Per Sacklén and musician Eva Sidén explores how contemporary music and dance can exist side by side in a visually strong and shared space. As the music surrounds you, you witness a changing landscape, a grand piano and a carrier. Admission freeClick here for more information.
