60 Old Men of Charterhouse (1925) by H.V. Morton

In a previous blog post we discovered a little of how the Brothers lived in the early 20th century. This blog, an article by H.V. Morton, gives us an even greater picture of how they lived during this period.

Morton was a journalist and pioneering travel writer from Lancashire, England. He was best known for his popular books on London and the Holy Land.

His first book, The Heart of London, published in 1925, was a development of his Daily Express columns.
